Ratha Yatra is a major Hindu festival celebrated in Puri, India in June or July where the deities Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are taken from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple in large chariots. Over one million pilgrims attend the festival each year to see the deities departing on their annual journey.
