Ideally looking for IT Management and/or Solution Architect positions but flexible. I've been
working as an IT Professional my entire 20+ year career, with most recent 10 years as an IT
Consultant doing Systems/Infrastructure Architecture, service design and transition, service
delivery and support, Project Management and Engineering with diverse technical requirements;
including design and/or implementing Global Clinical, Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Solutions, and helping manage/migrate/consolidate computer systems and data centers.
I'm BCFP Certified SAN Professional and have done related storage, network, and server
virtualization work since 2000, am very customer focused, and have a friendly, outgoing
personality well suited for Sales. I also have substantial cGxP Quality, SOX concept knowledge,
significant Compliance training and experience, passed rigorous CISA (IS Audit) exam, been
through full System (SDLC/ITIL) and Computer Validation Life Cycle (VLC) multiple times at
multiple clients/employers, and helped develop IT Governance models (including as SOA CoE
Advisor), related Standards and SOPs.
I've worked with many major vendor products and teams to architect, engineer, implement,
and/or troubleshoot issues with complex computer and network system configurations (Oracle,
HP, IBM, SUN, Unix, Linux, VMS, MS/Windows and VMware systems and related products:
e.g. Cisco Switches/Routers, Brocade and Cisco fibre channel switches, HP and EMC SAN/NAS
Enterprise Storage and Dell iSCSI RAID arrays, Citrix switches and Application servers, Load
Balancers, virtual servers, SAS, SAP, Web Firewalls, Weblogic servers, ALSB Service Bus,
LDAP AD authentication interaction, and Oracle DB servers).
I've worked in many industries, including: BioPharmaceutical, Health Care, Consumer Goods,
Legal, Telecommunications, Aerospace/Defense; am driven self-starter, learn quickly, master
each client environment timely and effectively. I also did software development and engineering
for 11 years (including 5 years of SQL, DB design, DBA work), test and Release Management,
have been doing systems/project management for past 17+ years, performed IT design and
architecture, qualification, deployment, and support.
