This document provides character analyses for a slasher film called "It's Just A Movie!". It introduces 8 main characters: Girl A (Toni Fenning), who is killed early on; Girl B (Rhiannon Sands), Girl A's friend who is also killed; Girl C (Elise Sands), the twin sister of Girl B and the main character; Boy A (Lee Smith), a media studies student; Boy B (Callum Farrell), Girl C's boyfriend; Girl D (Lauren Harrison), who is shy; Boy C (Aaron Moorhouse), who is bold; and Boy D (Ryan Durkin). It describes each character's purpose and personality traits.

2. It’s Just A Movie! In my trailer one of the things I haven't included is character names as I feel that waste’s so much time introducing characters. Also I think you don’t need to know the names of the characters in the trailer to understand the plot of the film. If there names were to be mentioned I think they’d playing a different version of them selves.

Character Analysis Girl A aka Toni Fenning The purpose of this character is mainly the opening kill, which is a common convention in both horror and slasher films, but I didn’t want the character to fall into the stereotype of being the dumb character killed off first. So in the script she and Girl B put up a bit of a fight and try and stop the killer unsuccessfully. She is Girl B’s best friend and is quite intelligent but hates horror films, something that Girl B is very enthusiastic about.

5. Character Analysis Girl B aka Rhiannon Sands The purpose of this character is mainly the opening kill. She is the identical twin sister of Girl C aka Elise Sands. She and Girl A put up a bit of a fight and try and stop the killer unsuccessfully. She is Girl A’s best friend. She is a huge fan of horror films and is quite jealous of her twin sister’s popularity and boyfriend.

6. Character Analysis Girl C aka Elise Sands The purpose of this character is that she is the main character of the film. She is the identical twin sister of Girl C aka Rhiannon Sands. She is the character that the audience will feel the most for as she is the victim and she is the one dealing with the death of her twin sister. She has a boyfriend, Boy B aka Callum Farrell, and is a popular member of her social group.

7. Character Analysis Boy A aka Lee Smith This character is a media studies student and is friends with the rest of the group. He is the character that works out what the killer is up to and discovers that there recreating horror scene’s and death’s.

8. Character Analysis Boy B aka Callum Farrell This character is the boyfriend of Girl C. He finds the events that are happening very hard to deal with. He is also one of the characters that is very suspicious and secretive. He is also linked to many of the murders making him one of the prime suspects.

9. Character Analysis Girl D aka Lauren Harrison She is the shy one of the group. Her personality is quiet compared to the other big bold characters in the group. She also becomes a prime suspect when she is found with a ‘Ghostface’ costume on Halloween.

10. Character Analysis Boy C aka Aaron Moorhouse He is one of the more bolder people in the group. He is outspoken and ruthless and is a character you don’t want to mess with.

11. Character Analysis Boy D aka Ryan Durkin He is the final character of the group. He is a character that can put up one hell of a fight but his greatest weakness is seeing the ones he cares about in danger.
