19. Letter Writing Guidelines
 Use school technology tools responsibly.
 Set margins to 1 inch.
 Set line spacing to double space – 2.0.
 Choose a readable font style – Capitals with lowercase, no
cursive.
 Set font size to 14 pt.
 Align the heading to the right.
 Align the greeting, body and closing to the left.
 Indent paragraphs using the tab key.
 Utilize word wrapping on the body of the text.
 Run spell check.
 Save the document to the teacher assigned location.
 Print one copy of the document in portrait view to the
appropriate printer.
