- 9. In the cityof Rome there is the smallest State in the world, Vatican City, that is the official papal residence.
- 10. CIOCIARIA We live inthe southern part of Lazio: in an area which is called Ciociaria. The different colours on the left represent the five districts in which generally Ciociaria is usually represented according to criteria of historical, cultural and traditional homogeneity.
- 11. In Lazio regionthere is also our town, Frosinone…. With its history… Its natural beauty…and… Its typical dishes.
- 12. OUR TOWN The townwhere we live is FROSINONE, one of the five provinces of Lazio. With its 48.000, it is one of the most important communication junction of the whole region. Despite several destructions, suffered during its history (the last during the Second World War), the town still preserves important evidences of its past, shown in the Archaeological Museum.

- 16. PRIMARY SCHOOL “AMEDEO MAIURI” Our school is entitled to an academic, famous all over the world: Amedeo Maiuri. He was born in Veroli, Ciociaria, in 1886. When he was young he deeply interested in archaeology and under his direction excavations were carried out to bring to light the remains of Ercolano and Pompei. AMEDEO MAIURI
