The document proposes the idea of an "IT Village" modeled after Mithapur, a town privately owned by Tata Chemicals that provides housing, education, healthcare and other amenities to its 5,000 employees and their families. The author believes an "IT Village" developed jointly by major IT companies could offer a higher quality of life for IT professionals by providing a peaceful, pollution-free community with free access to necessities and proximity to work. Three generations may remain with the same company if offered a secure social life alongside employment.

Robots and humanity – what are the social impacts?Future Female
Robots and humanity – what are the social impacts? meetup was hosted on Thu 25.10.2018 at Futurice.
Futurice’s Minja Axelsson talked about the problems that could in the future be solved by social robots, as well as how to design social robots in a user-centric way. Minja’s talk also touched upon the ethical considerations of robots.
Cristina Andersson discussed the social transformations being brought on by robotics, and the shift from talking about artificial intelligence to cognitive robotics. With technology advancing, how will humans change.
To get the status of a “Developed Nation”, we need trained professionals for various fields; to take care of production, service, marketing, sales, distribution, law & order etc.
As per the statistics India needs more then 2,00,00,000 trained professionals by 2025 .
Now it’s time to look around for new & innovative opportunities to make a living.
Digital twins for secure, green and healthy future citiesIET India
Most cities across the world are looking at transforming into ‘smart cities’. With the world becoming exponentially digital and data increasing in volume and value, smart cities are now becoming more of a necessity. Most of the countries have been using Digital twins for an effective plan, design, build and management of the cities. While there are different kinds of systems within a city, in this webinar, we discussed four core systems of the city namely: 1) Healthcare system 2) Water management system 3) Safety & Security system 3) Environment system.
Read the report for insights on - creating city twins, predicting the city's future, empowering city administrators to take preventive and proactive actions using digital twins to improve health, safety, traffic, environment, infrastructure in Cities and insights on how to improve the city's Gross Happiness Index.

Apps, Avatars & Robots – THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE QUT
This presentation - given at the inaugural Arts Health Network Queensland 'Create, Connect, Collaborate' forum on 6 Oct 2018 - explores the promise and pitfalls of three technologies (apps, avatars and robots) posed to transform healthcare. It reflects on key ethical, cultural, social and political implications of the virtual information age for consumers, and healthcare educators, researchers and practitioners. It is built on this paper:
Miller, E. & Polson D. (2019). Apps, avatars and robots: The future of mental healthcare. Issues in Mental Health Nursing. https://doi.org/10.1080/01612840.2018.1524535
From imagination to reality, AI has evolved. In reality, intelligent machines assist humans as much as in science-fiction movies. We live in an era of artificial intelligence, which was only a story for a while.
This presentation is my first upload to test slideshare. I made this presentation to briefly talk about the exponential growth of technology and how it will impact careers in the emerging fourth industrial revolution. I am optimistic that with proper awareness, each one of us can be well informed about the educational measures to take to sharpen or enhance our skills to adapt to new professional or even personal environments. I hope that this presentation will motivate you to re-consider your position and take action. Thank you,
THE FUTURE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS IMPACT ON SOCIETY.pdfSyedZakirHussian
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the talk of the town! It’s no longer just the stuff of science fiction, but a rapidly evolving technology that’s changing our world in ways we couldn’t have imagined just a few short years ago. From Siri and Alexa to self-driving cars and smart homes, AI is already playing a significant role in our daily lives. But what does the future hold for this cutting-edge technology? How will it continue to impact our society?
In this blog, we’ll be exploring the future of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on society. From advancements in healthcare and employment to privacy and security concerns, we’ll take a deep dive into the many ways AI is shaping our world. And, because we believe that life is too short to be serious all the time, we’ll also sprinkle in a bit of humor to keep things interesting. So, buckle up, and let’s go on a journey to the future!
The advancements in AI are nothing short of remarkable, and it’s exciting to think about what the future holds. But it’s important to remember that with great power comes great responsibility. As we move forward with AI, it’s essential to consider the potential impact on society and to develop responsible practices to ensure that this technology is used for the greater good. We hope this blog will provide a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about the future of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on society.
Machine Learning and/or AI is being adopted across many industries at a rapid pace. But Bias in AI, lack of talent diversity in AI and lack of access to knowledge pose major risks. In this presentation, I showcase some real-life example of Bias in AI. But if we take the right steps we can build an Inclusive AI. Building an Inclusive AI is the right thing to do for the society, it also makes for a great product and business.

1. Dream village of IT professionals.
Can three generation serve the same company?
2. Idea of “IT Village” is inspired from “Mithapur”, Gujarat is
a census town in Devbhumi Dwarka district in
the Indian state of Gujarat.
A census town is a type of town that satisfies certain
characteristics, depending on the country in which it is
located.
The “Mithapur” story began in 1939, when the Tatas took
over the Okha Salt Works.
Mithapur, privately owned by Tata Chemicals, is part of the
5,398-acres of freehold land obtained in the 1930s from the
government of the erstwhile princely state of Baroda.
3. A department within Tata Chemicals takes care of
Mithapur's administration. This department is
responsible for developing and maintaining residential
houses, schools, medical facilities, public spaces and
welfare and sports activities.
They provide education to some 8,000 children and
employment to over 200 teachers (as per 2013 figures).
A well-equipped hospital, a mobile clinic, a family-
planning unit and child-immunisation centres look
after the healthcare needs of company employees.
4. Other facilities include a market with 300 shops, a
hospital, a cinema hall and six parks.
Tata Chemicals operates all the municipal services in
the town, and delivers an uninterrupted supply of
electricity from its captive co-generation power plant.
Approx 5,000 people working with the company in
plant at “Mithapur”
I have seen three generation serving the same
company just because they are given better life….
5. From last one month I am weekly visiting this town.
The city is green, clean, no traffic, well maintained, all
the medical and education facilities are available, 24 x
7 electricity, internet and telephone connections are
available, a railway station, bus transportation
everything is there which a human needs to live a
beautiful life.
6. The town is pollution free, the town is clean, the town
is peaceful, no rush, no hurry, clam and relaxed.
The big city where we live “Bombay”, “Delhi”,
“Bangalore”, “Pune”, “Hyderabad”, “Gorgon”,
“Ahmedabad” etc…. Are we really enjoying our life?
When I ask this question to me I get the answer “NO”
7. Definition of enjoying can be vary from one person to
another person.
Some people enjoy “fast” driving, some people enjoy “slow”
driving.
Some people enjoy “horror” movie, some people enjoy
“comedy” movie…
“IT Village“ is a dream township of an IT guy who served 10
years to IT industry but didn’t find the right place to leave
with a peace of mind.
8. I want to server “IT” industry till I get retired…
I want my kids to study in a good school from 1st
standard to 12th standard, no donation, no begging for
admission….
I want my parents and family to be cure by trust
worthy medical hospitals & doctors, I want them fit
and fine…
I want basic needs of my life with minimum cost…
I want to leave near to nature… I don’t want to die in
the jungle of concretes..
11. Free “education”
Free “medical”
Free “water”
Free “Wi-Fi”
Free “accommodation”
Free “gym”
Free “club membership”
Free “library”
Free “security”
Easy access to office
Easy access to school
Easy access to hospital
Easy access to park
Easy access to shopping
12. A “Java Street” all java guys living in that street
A “Designer Street” all the graphic designers living
nearby in that street
A “.NET Street” all the Microsoft geeks are neighbors
in that street
A “PHP Street” all the PHP experts leaving in same
colony
A “Game Gully” all the 3d game programmers living in
that street….
A “Networking Street” all networking guy…..
13. You can learn and explore your knowledge more by
living between the people having same thinking…
No Traffic, No Noise, No Rush
You can access internet from anywhere in the city
Your kids will also learn IT things in the teen age
They can continue serving the same industry
Near to nature..
A peaceful life……….
14. Me or You - an employee can’t….
Few big IT companies can work together and as a joint
venture they can come up with the plan.
Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Info Sys. Etc can work
together and retain employee life longer with this
approach…
IT company are actually not having any boundaries to
work so they can request a land to develop IT city from
Government of India.
They can make this dream come true…….
15. If you liked the idea of “IT Village” then please share
with your colleague, friends, family….with #itvillage
Let it reach to the CEO of big companies, business
groups, businessman and political leaders of your city,
state and country……
Let’s try to make them think of creating a township of
IT people only….. To retain employees and gain more
output by providing secure social life along with job…
