Jagdeep Dangi, a physically challenged youth from a small town in India, developed several software programs in Hindi to help Hindi speakers access the internet more easily. This included a Hindi language internet browser and digital dictionary. The Ministry of Information Technology recognized Dangi's contributions and asked him to demonstrate his software. They were impressed and have made his programs available on their website for others to download. Dangi hopes to develop his software for other Indian languages as well to help reduce language barriers for internet access.
