This document describes a multi-pass fuel filter test rig that tests fuel filter performance according to ISO 19438 standards. The rig automatically tests and generates reports on parameters like contaminant capacity, particle removal, and differential pressure. It determines filter element performance by injecting contaminant test dust while online particle sensors measure contamination upstream and downstream. The rig can test filter elements, flat sheet filter media, particle retention ability, and differential pressure characteristics.

Multi Pass Test Standard (ISO 19438)
The multi pass test stand is mainly used for testing the
performance of Fuel filters according to ISO 19438
standards. These standards describe a method for determining
the contaminant capacity, particle removal and differential pressure
characteristics of filter elements.
This test stand is automatically test report generated through software
controlled by a computer chart and all the test parameters can be display
on the screen. Data handling and generation of reports according to the
standards mentioned above are included.
In order to determine such characteristics, filter elements are injected with
contaminant (test dust), whereas online particle sensors measure the
contamination, thus making the evaluation of the filter element’s performance
possible

work treated with automotive pint.
