TREEDC has grown into an international organization with 96 mayors and 30 Universities that collaborate together to create a path to fast track renewable energy worldwide. The TREEDC International Exchange Program expands the scope of TREEDC’s mission of connecting renewable energy with economic development.
The International Exchange Program was created in 2012 to help cultivate technology and informational exchange among TREEDC’s members with international counterparts. The major objectives are information and technology exchange between sister cities and colleges, showcase Tennessee technology providers , promote social responsibility, and to replicate the TREEDC model worldwide. Five (5) countries were selected and the Philippines was chosen as the Pilot Country for Tennessee to connect to the rest of the world in advancing renewable energy. Today, there are 8 Philippine cities and 12 universities that have enrolled into the Program. This initiative has produced 5 educational forums across the country, provided typhoon relief assistance and has facilitated solar development, waste to energy and pico-hydro development in the rural areas of the country. The University has generated more positive recognition worldwide as an innovator in outreach and Tennessee renewable energy businesses have secured new customers in the Philippines. TREEDC has grown into an international organization with 96 mayors and 30 Universities that collaborate together to create a path to fast track renewable energy worldwide. The TREEDC International Exchange Program expands the scope of TREEDC’s mission of connecting renewable energy with economic development.
The International Exchange Program was created in 2012 to help cultivate technology and informational exchange among TREEDC’s members with international counterparts. The major objectives are information and technology exchange between sister cities and colleges, showcase Tennessee technology providers , promote social responsibility, and to replicate the TREEDC model worldwide. Five (5) countries were selected and the Philippines was chosen as the Pilot Country for Tennessee to connect to the rest of the world in advancing renewable energy. Today, there are 8 Philippine cities and 12 universities that have enrolled into the Program. This initiative has produced 5 educational forums across the country, provided typhoon relief assistance and has facilitated solar development, waste to energy and pico-hydro development in the rural areas of the country. The University has generated more positive recognition worldwide as an innovator in outreach and Tennessee renewable energy businesses have secured new customers in the Philippines. In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

- 3. Founded in 1842, the University of Chile is the main and oldest institution of higher education owned by the State in Chile, with a national and public character. It is a research-oriented institution, and it is organized in 14 Faculties. The Faculty of Physical Sciences and Mathematics, in which our work is focused, hosts the School of Engineering. It has 425 professors, 1.100 graduate students and 4.860 undergraduate students. THE UNIVERSITY OF CHILE CONTEXT

The Campus comprises 13 Departments: Astronomy, Materials Science, Computation Science, Physics, Geophysics, Geology, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical and Biotechnology Engineering. - 5. CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT The Cleaner Production Agreement is a sustainability standard created by the Government of Chile. They have created this mechanism for several industrial sectors, and recently also for Higher Education Institutions. Around 20 Universities signed it, of which 14 complied with it. It requested to accomplish the following 11 goals:
- 6. Have a Sustainability Policy CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT GOAL N°1 Promote sustainability topics in the teaching curriculum GOAL N°2 Develop a sustainability outreach programme GOAL N°3 Promote sustainability related topics in research GOAL N°4
- 7. Train 20% of the students and professors in sustainability matters CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT GOAL N°5 Measure the Universities' carbon footprint GOAL N°6 Reduce in 5% the energy consumption indicators GOAL N°7 Reduce in 5% the water consumption indicators GOAL N°8
- 8. Implement a recycling system on Campus CLEANER PRODUCTION AGREEMENT GOAL N°9 Implement risks prevention measures GOAL N°10 Measure the liquid waste produced on Campus GOAL N°11
- 9. The Campus Photovoltaic Solar Plant is built by 124 modules, which are semi transparent and integrated into the building. It is connected to the grid, with power installed of 15 kW.
