This document describes a proposed automatic ration distribution system that uses fingerprint authentication to distribute goods from ration shops. The system aims to reduce corruption and inefficiencies in India's public distribution system. It uses a microcontroller and fingerprint detector to authenticate users, a keypad to select ration amounts, valves to dispense goods of accurate weights, and GSM to send purchase details to users and authorities. The system is intended to automate ration distribution, minimize manual work and irregularities, and prevent the sale of goods on the black market. If implemented, it could help eradicate much of the corruption in India's public distribution network.
