The Irish Red Cross Restoring Family Links Strategy 2011-2016 provides a framework to guide the development of RFL activities over the next five years. It identifies 17 strategic actions to improve services including regionalizing RFL, training volunteers, collaborating with other organizations, and raising awareness of RFL services. The strategy aims to reflect best practices, efficiently meet individual needs with compassion, and ensure the IRC plays its role in the Movement's RFL network and with statutory authorities in Ireland. An implementation plan will be developed in 2011 and evaluations will assess progress in 2013 and 2015.
