Apple has announced the introduction of a new version of its Apple TV and iPad range. With approximately 70 million iPads forecast to be shipped in 2012 (71% up on 2011), there remains an insatiable appetite for Apple products around the world. Whilst neither announcement is especially ground-breaking, the success of the iPhone 4S, which was greeted with hoots of derision by tech-blogs, shows that the general public doesn’t seem to care. There are multiple additional features and upgrades with no major price hike so these latest announcements are unlikely to see this demand change significant and if anything could well increase it.

When Apple priced a smartphone above the $1,000 barrier for the first time two years ago, consumers balked.
Analysts worried the iPhone X would flop. USA Today joked that buyers might need to take out a mortgage to
purchase it.
But then the unexpected happened: people bought the device in such numbers thatiPhonerevenues reached a
record $62bn in the holiday quarter, up 13 per cent from the previous year, even as unit sales declined.
The revenue boost proved shortlived, but ahead of Apple’s annual hardware event on September 10, pricing experts
at the consultancy Simon-Kucher &Partners believe consumers are ready for the next milestone: a $2,000 iPhone.
In a new survey of 10,250 people across the US, Simon-Kucher found that 10 per cent of consumers in the market
for a new iPhone were willing to pay $2,000 for a top-range model. A quarter were willing to pay more than $1,800.
“There’s an iPhone for every purse,” said Madhavan Ramanujam, a partner at Simon-Kucher.
The survey, of course, was taken before Apple has actually revealed its new line-up of iPhones. The percentage of
customers willing to splash out the extra cash could be considerably lower if Apple fails to unveil any big
technology improvements that might command such a premium.
Days before the event, analysts say the smartphone looks set to underwhelm. While rivals such as Samsung push
ahead with foldable phones and ultrafast 5G connectivity, it is widely expected Apple will unveil three new iPhones
featuring the same screen sizes as current models but with upgraded processors and Apple’s first triple-lens
camera —exciting, perhaps, but something Huawei has had for nearly two years.
“Apple doesn’t appear to have the lock on product innovation or enthusiasm that it used to have,” said Mark

Apple iPhone 14 Leaks Design of iPhone 14, Release Date (2022).pdfRobert Smith
The iPhone 14 is coming soon. Although there are many rumours about the
next big iPhone, we don’t yet know what will be featured in this phone.
However, we can speculate based on reports and rumours. Rumours and
reports about all the features of the iPhone 14 suggest that it will not be a
drastic redesign from the iPhone 13.
The iPhone 14 will probably look a lot like the iPhone 13, it’ll be clad in
titanium alloy and available in a massive form factor that packs in even more
features.
1. Display and Camera
Apple may eventually remove the wedge-like notch with the iPhone 14 Pro
and Pro Max, replacing it with a punch-hole camera – the same solution for
almost all Android phones we’ve used for years now.
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max could get a punch-hole camera instead of a
notch. There might also be a big-screen in place of an iPhone 14 mini.
The line-up models are expected to look like the previous one such as the 12
series or 13 series with the same flat-edged design, but in addition to the
changes in display, there will be updates to the body design.
Two leaks this week raise serious questions about Apple’s next-generation
strategy and are likely to divide fans. Let’s separate ourselves.
The first leak, according to industry expert Ross Young, indicates that Apple
will replace the notch on 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max with a “hole-punch +
pill-shaped display” design. A circular punch hole is expected to feature a
Face ID dot projector, with a pill-shaped cut that contains both a front-facing
camera with attached a Face ID infrared camera.
The design has been given extra weight, who noted that the pill-shaped cut
will be present on the iPhone 14 Pro. But Young also said a second
punch-hole cut would be next to it to capture a selfie camera.
Surprisingly, he also claims that :
“the smaller hole will not be invisible… The two-hole concept will be
unique to Apple.“
He has the perfect track record according to apple track and these display
cutouts could be going to horizontal “i” (iPhone).
What might that look like?
Another set of offers from The Hacker 34 on YouTube shows what the iPhone
14 Pro can look like without a notch. It also shows the rear cameras that are
almost hit by the back of the phone.
Engineer Jeff Grossman hit the iPhone 14 Pro with a joke about a pill-shaped
camera that replaced the notch. (Some reports suggest that Apple will go with
this circular cut instead of their favourite circular phone makers right now).
2. Tough Titanium Alloy Chassis
The 14 models will probably look a lot like the iPhone 13, it’ll be clad in
titanium alloy and available in a massive form factor that packs in even more
features on it.
When we heard a titanium alloy chassis many people have questions raised
themselves like :
What’s the difference between titanium alloy as compared to stainless
steel?
Stainless Steel Vs Titanium Alloy
Compared to stainless steel, titanium has a relatively high hardness that
makes it more resistant to scratches. It is also resist
Apple's next press event happens on Monday, March 21 at the company's campus in Cupertino, California.
We've already talked about what to expect, in our PPT but to recap: Apple is expected to announce a new 4-inch iPhone that combines the size of the iPhone 5S with features from the iPhone 6 and 6S. It will also supposedly be upgrading the 9.7-inch iPad, giving it updated internals, a Smart Connector, and Apple Pencil support imported from the iPad Pro. The Apple Watch may get some love in the form of new band colors and combinations, but rumors say not to expect a full hardware refresh just yet.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
