The document provides a breakdown of the estimated investment costs for a 50 MW parabolic trough concentrated solar power plant with 4 hours of thermal energy storage, totaling 14.5 crore rupees per MW or 100% of costs. The largest portions of costs are the solar field at 24% of costs, power block at 12%, storage device at 8%, and allowances and project finance each at 8-11% of costs. The cost breakdown is categorized into 13 components including the solar field, storage, power block, balance of plant, land development, civil works, labor, electrical infrastructure, project management, and contingencies.

Maximizing Power Production for Small Commercial Projectsallearthrenewables
For any project, return on investment is key, but this is especially true for small commercial projects, where getting the most bang for your buck is essential. The key is reframing your thinking: it’s not just about traditional measures of cost like dollar per watt. Thinking about production capacity, and your dollar per kilowatt-hour, will yield a much better picture of how your project will return–and how you can meet your bottom line.
In this webinar, we’ll take you through the key steps for maximizing your power production in small commercial projects, including choosing panels that will give you more power for your money, how to site effectively to ensure you’re capturing as much sunlight as possible throughout the day, and thinking beyond fixed-mount systems to systems that follow the sun to increase your production by up to 40%.
Thermography for Solar Panel - Testo® Indiatestoindiaseo
A practical guide about to find out defects in solar modules, cells, junction boxes, array box, cables, diode junction box, invertor section, LT panels, LT cables, power transformers & transmission lines.
Gensol strives to add value from Project Conceptualisation to Commissioning to ensure timely, quality and cost effective completion. From drafting exhaustive EPC contracts to approving engineering drawings and quality control during construction, Gensol's experience of 1500 MW works to ensure Peace of Mind for the Project Developer.
Presentation covers the different issues in setting up a rooftop solar photovoltaic project in Ontario. Things that are addressed is what should be included in feasibility study, different levels of involvement in your project, and risks and concerns during the project set-up and construction stage.

BUILDING THE LARGEST SOLAR SMART ARRAY IN NORTH AMERICA: Behind the Scenes of...Rick Borry
Go behind the scenes of the development and construction of the recently commissioned 2.2 MW solar power plant constructed by Talmage Solar Engineering, Inc. in Sharon, Vermont. This is the largest solar "smart array" in North America, and was featured prominently in the industry press and at SPI 2012.
The system combines Upsolar modules backed by Upsolar's reinforced warranty Tigo Energy's PV solar power optimizers and digital monitoring, and Solectria Renewables inverters, to feed optimized renewable energy directly into the local grid. Project developer Talmage Engineering's CFO Kale Inoue will review the project's history and will lead a panel discussion with and Upsolar's Troy Dalbey, Tigo's Paul Grana, and Solectria's Brad Sherman .
The panel will review the challenges faced in developing the project and the technical advances that allow the system to perform at a lower cost per kilowatt hour than a traditional array. You will learn what it takes to get a project of this size from concept to electricity production, hear from vendors of key system components about their design, and see how everything is performing since commissioning in July 2012.
Ensuring Profitability - A Practical PersepectivePuneet Jaggi
Presentation given Anmol Singh Jaggi - Director, Gensol Consultants explains how to build profitable solar power projects in spite of competitive reverse bidding under National Solar Mission. Anmol also explains what other options can be explored by Solar Power enthusiasts to setup Solar Power Projects viz Renewable Energy Certificates.
Please make sure to read the presentation with notes.
