CloudHub is MuleSoft's integration platform as a service (iPaaS) that allows users to deploy and run Mule applications in the cloud. CloudHub includes platform services and a worker cloud that work together with the runtime manager console to run applications in the cloud. It is scalable, multi-tenant, elastic, secure, and highly available. Developers can deploy applications from Anypoint Studio to CloudHub using the CloudHub API or CLI. Applications run on CloudHub workers, which are isolated Mule instances of different sizes. The worker clouds are distributed globally across data centers for low latency. Users manage and monitor applications through the runtime manager console after deployment.

DevOps processes (such as continuous deployment and delivery) often involve writing many custom scripts that are triggered by the build system. With that approach, it is relatively hard to trace the deployment process and troubleshoot when something goes wrong. Additionally, custom scripts are often not written in an easily understood manner. We will also discuss how Cloudify uses Riemann to provide simple execution and monitoring of those workflow processes. We will share how one customer, PaddyPower, was able to leverage Cloudify to transition their traditional IT into a DevOps environment, bridging the gap betwe

Hybrid functionality enables a private cloud administrator to outsource the cloud workload -read, the cloud VMs- to an external public cloud provider. OpenNebula approach to hybrid cloud is quite unique, in this talk we will explain how transparency for the user is achieved, and what tools OpenNebula gives to the administrator to build a fully functional hybrid cloud. Moreover, in this talk we will introduce the support for two new public cloud providers, available from OpenNebula 4.8. Before this release, integration with AWS was the default in OpenNebula, but now you can build clouds that expand to IBM SoftLayer and Microsoft Azure as well.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.
