The document discusses street evangelism and why more Christians are not sharing their faith. It argues that only 2% of Christians evangelize while most are apathetic or afraid. It provides biblical support for evangelizing and saving souls. It then describes a technique called "The Way of the Master" to humble people and make them aware of their sin so they will accept Jesus, such as using the 10 Commandments to show they have sinned. The goal is to equip, encourage, and embolden Christians to evangelize using this approach.
Series jesus is -______ - message – part 3 - jesus is our friend – sunday...LifePointe Church
This message is Part 3 in Pastor Chuck Bernal's series, "JESUS is _____________". The message is titled, "JESUS is your Friend". Pastor Chuck discusses how the religious leaders of the day criticized Jesus for befriending "bad" people and how Jesus revealed what God is truly like by showing grace, mercy, love and forgiveness to everyone - no matter what they had done. The message has a two-fold purpose: 1. To show that Jesus loves us just as we are and 2. To show we must have the same mindset and attitude toward others that Jesus had. This message was delivered at LifePointe Church on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
This is the first in a month-long series on praying for revival. We need to allow ourselves to be desperate before God in prayer if we want to pray with the intensity that God loves. He wants us hot in prayer--not lukewarm. I am too lukewarm in many things. I need revival. I hope this video convinces you that you also need a fresh touch from God.

India's annual economic growth slumped in the January-March quarter to a nine-year low of 5.3% as the manufacturing sector shrank and a fall in the rupee to a record low suggests the economy remains under pressure in the current quarter.

Pro life-presentation: Our Liberty in Christ's Death on the CrossJeffrey Stephaniuk
Jesus' death on the cross advances human civilization, while abortion is a regression from civilization. This slide presentation was given as a retreat for our pro-life prayer league.
What is the Way of Life? You shall Love God with all of your heart and with all of your soul and all of your mind and with all of your strength, and you should love your neighbor as yourself, and you should never do to others what you do not want done to yourself. This admonition of this two-fold love opens the first paragraph of the Didache.
The Didache belongs to the writings of the Apostolic Church Fathers, who were the second generation of Church Fathers, after the Apostles, but before the New Testament canon had been finalized by consensus. Scholars believe that the Didache was possibly the earliest post-apostolic writing because it refers to travelling evangelists and prophets that visit the new churches, much like St Paul had done.
The second half of the Didache is a simple church manual that contains instructions on:
• Baptism
• The Eucharist
• Sunday Worship and Liturgy
• Fasting and prayer
• Praying the Lords Prayer three times a day
• Proper treatment of missionaries and prophets
• Election of local church officials

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
2. "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations...Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Jesus
3. It’s estimated that just 2% of Christians share their faith. 98% of Christians are doing nothing. “ It is rebellion against God to know what you should do and then do nothing.” Therefore, 98% of Christians are in rebellion against God.
4. Saving the lost is God’s priority. The whole New Testament is basically about one thing… John The Baptist tells people that Jesus is coming and is the way to be saved. Jesus arrives and tells people he is the way to be saved. Jesus sends out the 12 and then later 72 to tell people the way to be saved. After Jesus ascends to heaven, the apostles convene to decide how to tell people how to be saved. Jesus appears to Paul and commands him to tell the Gentiles how to be saved. Paul travels around telling people how to be saved. Paul writes letters confirming people have understood the way to be saved.
5. Today, only 2% of Christians are following the example that turned a house church into the biggest faith in the world. No wonder the UK has been overtaken by secular humanism and subsequently reaped the highest teenage pregnancy rates in Europe, the unhappiest children in the world (according to UNICEF), the highest suicide rates, the highest abortion rates and drug usage of all time, feral youth, an obesity crisis, alcohol abuse, gang culture and violence, the acceptance of homosexual partnerships, a diminishing world status, debt problems, attacks on marriage…
6. The modern church has turned the ‘means’ into the ‘end’. The end product of the early church was always spreading the gospel through teaching and miracles. That was the entire focus. That people might believe and be saved. Today we have church, hold events, go to seminars… but they are only worth something if they lead to the same end product. These things are only means to build each other up and equip us for the responsibility of spreading the gospel.
8. 1. Apathy Wherever there is affluence, there’s apathy. Listen, you women who lie around in ease. Listen to me, you who are so smug. In a short time—just a little more than a year— you careless ones will suddenly begin to care. For your fruit crops will fail, and the harvest will never take place. Tremble, you women of ease; throw off your complacency. Isaiah 32:9-11
9. - Revelation 3:26 "But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! So be diligent and turn from your indifference." The affluence of the UK has perhaps led to complacency.
10. 2. Fear Fear controls most things that most people do. It is our greatest enemy and Satan’s greatest tool. That is why God’s most frequent command throughout the whole Bible is… “ DO NOT BE AFRAID.” There are over 365 instances of this command in the Bible. The opposite of fear is faith. Live by faith and anything is possible.
11. The goal of the Fuel Project is therefore… To Equip Encourage Embolden Christians to share their faith.
12. How? Most people on the street think that if there is a God and if there is a heaven, they are sufficiently good enough to be allowed in. Therefore, they don’t know WHY they need a saviour! "Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness...“ Proverbs 20:6
13. Until people are made aware of their sin, they will not accept Jesus. “ God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” – James 4:6 While their pride tells them they are already good enough, they cannot be saved.
14. Parable of the Pharisee and Tax Collector ” Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat, I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” - Luke 18:9-14
15. How do we humble them and make them aware of their sin?
16. The Law I.e. The 10 Commandments So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. - Galatians 3:24 We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers… 1 Timothy 1:9
17. Jesus shows us how… Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother. - Luke 18:18-20
