The events industry is hit hard by the Covid-19 virus. Commissioned by the Dutch department of Economic Affairs, we have developed a solution that can monitor the rules. At the moment this is done for research, but the ultimate goal is to allow more visitors. Off course that must be safe and we continue to develop Intra to ensure this. We measure fully anonymously and publicly friendly.

Agriculture has a number of challenges at the same time. Stricter rules for insecticides means that plant damage caused by insects or fungi must be recognized more quickly. The sooner the better and prevents further damage. Efficiency and larger harvests can also be achieved in this way.This is even possible at plant level, using drones combined with computer vision.

Information Retrieval from Emotions and Eye Blinks with help of Sensor Nodes
In everyday life, there are situations where the only way to communicate are emotions. EMOTICONS are the epitome of the same. This aspect of communication can also be used in emergency situations (terrorist attacks, hijacks) where the only way to communicate is by performing some extraordinary actions or through some emotions. Incorporating technology to the above mentioned circumstances the paper proposes a novel framework of detecting an emergency situation by retrieving information from emotions and eye blinks using sensor nodes. The proposed framework can be deployed in places (hotels, banks, airports etc.) which are more suspected to attacks. The framework takes input from real time parameters: eye blinks, emotions, heart rate. Based on behavioral changes, biological changes and physical changes the proposed framework extracts meticulous information. The proposed framework is further validated through implementation of a facial emotion recognition system that successfully recognizes various human emotions. The facial emotion recognition system of the proposed framework is compared with existing SVM technique in terms of accuracy, training and testing error. Accuracy with the proposed system is increased to 78.40% in comparison with existing SVM that is 75.37% and the training error is decreased to 0.004103 whereas with the existing SVM method training error is 0.008935.
Advance Intelligent Video Surveillance System Using OpenCV

An efficient system for real time fatigue detection

The detection of human beings in a camera attracts more attention because of its wide range of applications such as abnormal event detection, person counting in a dense crowd, person identification, fall detection for care to elderly people, etc. Over the time, various techniques have evolved to enhance the visual information. This article presents a novel 3-D intelligent information system for identifying abnormal human activity using background subtraction, rectification, morphology, neural networks and depth estimation with a thermal camera and a pair of hand held Universal Serial Bus (USB) camera to visualize un-calibrated images. The proposed system detects strongest points using Speed-Up Robust Features (SURF). The Sum of Absolute Difference (SAD) algorithm match the strongest points detected by SURF. 3-D object model and image stitching from image sequences are carried out in the proposed work. A series of images captured from different cameras are stitched into a geometrically consistent mosaic either horizontally/vertically based on the image acquisition. 3-D image and depth estimation of un-calibrated stereo images are acquired using rectification and disparity. The background is separated from the scene using threshold approach. Features are extracted using morphological operators in order to get the skeleton. Junction points and end points of the skeleton image are obtained from the skeleton. Data set of abnormal human activity is created using supervised learning such as neural network with a thermal camera and a pair of webcam. The feature vector of an activity is compared with already created data set, if a match occurs the classifier detects abnormal human activity. Additionally the proposed algorithm performs depth estimation to measure real time distance of objects dynamically. The system use thermal camera, Intel computing stick, converter, video graphics array (VGA) to high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and webcams. The proposed novel intelligent information system gives 94% maximum accuracy and 89% minimum accuracy for different activities, thus it effectively detects suspicious activity during day and night.

In our system, these capture images may be saved as individual frames. The resulting frame is sent into facial recognition software as an input. The image's needed feature (eye) is then extracted. An efficient system for real time fatigue detection
This document summarizes a research paper that proposes an efficient system for real-time fatigue detection. The system uses computer vision and image processing techniques to measure eye closure count, blinking rate, and yawning to detect user fatigue. Face detection is performed using the Viola-Jones algorithm. Abnormalities in eye and mouth behavior are then analyzed to determine if the user is fatigued. The system aims to detect fatigue early enough to avoid accidents in applications where user attentiveness is critical. It is designed to have low time and space complexity, be low cost, and not significantly impact normal user interactions. The proposed approach and algorithm are described, and example results of fatigue detection are provided.

This project aims to create a vehicle accident alert system using sensors and communication devices. Road accidents are a major cause of death, especially for young people. In the Philippines, car and motorcycle accidents account for most vehicle collisions. The proposed system uses an Arduino, accelerometer, tilt sensor, vibration sensor, GPS and GSM modules to detect if a vehicle has been in an accident. If an accident is detected, the system will send an alert with the vehicle's location to emergency services to facilitate rescue. The goal is to help in remote or rural areas where accidents may not immediately be reported. The study will test the system's design, sensors' accuracy, and effectiveness in identifying locations and alerting authorities after a crash occurs.

It uses Bluetooth and eye tracking to understand a user's emotions, identify them, and interact as partners. The system includes a Data Acquisition Unit that collects sensor data and a Central System Unit that analyzes the data. It has applications in security, assistive technologies, and interactive devices. The technology aims to reduce human error and make human-computer interaction more natural.

The detection of human beings in a camera attracts more attention because of its wide range of applications such as abnormal event detection, person counting in a dense crowd, person identification, fall detection for care to elderly people, etc. Over the time, various techniques have evolved to enhance the visual information. This article presents a novel 3-D intelligent information system for identifying abnormal human activity using background subtraction, rectification, morphology, neural networks and depth estimation with a thermal camera and a pair of hand held Universal Serial Bus (USB) camera to visualize un-calibrated images. The proposed system detects strongest points using Speed-Up Robust Features (SURF). The Sum of Absolute Difference (SAD) algorithm match the strongest points detected by SURF. 3-D object model and image stitching from image sequences are carried out in the proposed work. A series of images captured from different cameras are stitched into a geometrically consistent mosaic either horizontally/vertically based on the image acquisition. 3-D image and depth estimation of un-calibrated stereo images are acquired using rectification and disparity. The background is separated from the scene using threshold approach. Features are extracted using morphological operators in order to get the skeleton. Junction points and end points of the skeleton image are obtained from the skeleton. Data set of abnormal human activity is created using supervised learning such as neural network with a thermal camera and a pair of webcam. The feature vector of an activity is compared with already created data set, if a match occurs the classifier detects abnormal human activity. Additionally the proposed algorithm performs depth estimation to measure real time distance of objects dynamically. The system use thermal camera, Intel computing stick, converter, video graphics array (VGA) to high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and webcams. The proposed novel intelligent information system gives 94% maximum accuracy and 89% minimum accuracy for different activities, thus it effectively detects suspicious activity during day and night.

When driving long distances, drivers who do not take frequent rests are more likely to get sleepy, a condition that experts say they often fail to identify early enough. Based on eye condition, this research proposes a system for detecting driver sleepiness in real time. A camera is often used to take a sequence of images by the system. In our system, these capture images may be saved as individual frames. The resulting frame is sent into facial recognition software as an input. The image's needed feature (eye) is then extracted. Met drones en computer vision is dat mogelijk op plant en akker niveau.

Measures in SQL (SIGMOD 2024, Santiago, Chile)
SQL has attained widespread adoption, but Business Intelligence tools still use their own higher level languages based upon a multidimensional paradigm. Composable calculations are what is missing from SQL, and we propose a new kind of column, called a measure, that attaches a calculation to a table. Like regular tables, tables with measures are composable and closed when used in queries.
SQL-with-measures has the power, conciseness and reusability of multidimensional languages but retains SQL semantics. Measure invocations can be expanded in place to simple, clear SQL.
To define the evaluation semantics for measures, we introduce context-sensitive expressions (a way to evaluate multidimensional expressions that is consistent with existing SQL semantics), a concept called evaluation context, and several operations for setting and modifying the evaluation context.
