• An interactive documentary is a documentary
production that differs from the more traditional
forms of video, audio, photographic—by applying
different multimedia tools.
• Interactive documentaries provides a unique
medium to create non-linear productions that
combine photography, text, audio, video, animation
and info graphics. Making them different to the
traditional type of documentary.

• Many documentaries feature ‘interactive mode’. Sequences involve
those who are being filmed responding to questions they are asked.
In these interviews questions asked by the film maker may be left
in/edited out. The use of the answers from the interviewees could
be so that they can tell their side of a story or give their opinion.

• This mode can also undermine the interviewees, which it could be
designed to make them look foolish. Also this mode acknowledges
the presence of the camera crew
• The opinion of the interviewee could be seen as
