This presentation gives step by step directions on using SMART Response PE devices with Study Island

1. Integrating SMART Response with Study Island (this can only be done when you have a class subscription with Study Island)

2. 1. Connect the SMART Response receiver You can choose to start an Anonymous class within SMART Response Teacher Tools since you will later choose a class from within your Study Island management options

3. 2. Login to Study Island and select the chosen content area

4. 3. Click “Start Studying” and select “Classroom Response Systems”

5. 4. Select “SMART Response” from the list of available options It is critical that you are using SMART Response 2010 Version 3.0 (run your updates if you are not using this)

6. 5. Choose the number of questions to answer and begin If you are polling anonymously the “Pad ID” will not be relevant

7. 6. Choose “Teacher Led” session and click “Start Polling”

8. 7. Click “Stop Polling” and choose “Question Results”
