This document is a research memoire from ESCP Europe on lead management in insurance. It analyzes recommendations from AXA Group on how to manage leads generated through online channels. The memoire first reviews existing literature on lead management processes. It then explains AXA's recommendations for lead generation, prioritization and allocation of leads, and nurturing and converting leads. Gaps are identified between AXA's recommendations and the existing literature. The recommendations are also tested on the lead management model of one AXA entity. The analysis finds that not all recommendations are applicable to every entity.
