This document provides instructions for conducting a webinar training. It outlines steps for the instructor to upload a presentation, welcome participants, have participants test their audio, review key areas of the webinar interface, and have participants interactively mark their location on a map to engage them. The goal is for participants to experience the webinar environment and learn through doing, failing, and trying again.

2. Upload 1
Do:
Instructor demonstrates how to upload a
presentation, by uploading the “Presentation by
Instructor”
Say:
We’re going to jump ahead on the learning curve
because I am going to demonstrate how to upload a
presentation
It will take a few minutes to upload, so I want to
get it started now while I go through the Welcome

3. Upload 2
Do:
Click on “UPLOAD” button
Locate presentation file
Choose “UPLOAD”

4. Welcome
Do: Bring learner’s attention back to the
Welcome slides
Say:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Value in
Webinars
Over the next hour we will experience the
webinar environment from the inside-out
This is our opportunity to try, fail and try
again

5. Sound Check
Do: show them the Bb beginning slide
Say:
Let’s each take a turn at the microphone/
and video camera (if desired) to be sure
that our audio is OK
