This paper proposes a system to differentiate between human-generated and AI-generated texts using stylometric analysis. The system analyzes text files and classifies writing styles by employing various clustering algorithms, such as k-means, k-means++, hierarchical, and DBSCAN. The effectiveness of these algorithms is measured using silhouette scores. The system successfully identifies distinct writing styles within documents, demonstrating its potential for plagiarism detection.
Introduction:
Stylometry, the study of linguistic and structural features in texts, is used for tasks like plagiarism detection, genre separation, and author verification. This paper leverages stylometric analysis to identify different writing styles and improve plagiarism detection methods.
Methodology:
The system includes data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, dimensional reduction, machine learning models for clustering, and performance comparison using silhouette scores. Feature extraction focuses on lexical features, vocabulary richness, and readability scores. The study uses a small dataset of texts from various authors and employs algorithms like k-means, k-means++, hierarchical clustering, and DBSCAN for clustering.
Results:

You graduated with a MS in accounting from UMGC and have recently been hired by a large accounting firm in Washington, D.C. You report directly to the senior accountant, Kathryn Cowgal, who is originally from Colorado and loves to ski when she’s not riding horses. Fortunately, you and Kathryn hit it off right away and you’re excited to be part of her team.
It’s Monday morning, you’re at your desk with a cup of coffee and a Danish staring at your long list of emails wondering how you’ll ever have time to catch up on last week’s projects. Your boss Kathryn briskly enters your office, sits down, and says, you’re going to love this assignment. I have hand-picked you to prepare a financial analysis for a new client in the retail industry. Kathryn goes on to say your report will be part of a company-wide analysis of the retail business sector in the US. For the analysis, she instructs you to choose from a list of paired public retail companies that are among the Fortune 500 and to be prepared to present your findings to the client. Kathryn hands you the list of paired public retail companies, suggested steps to follow, and a list of deliverables. She strongly encourages you to submit drafts, which she refers to as milestones. The purpose of the milestones is to receive Kathryn’s constructive feedback on your deliverables to give you an opportunity to improve your final versions before her deadline.

You are to write an analytical report on a selected area of Performance Management as it
relates to organisations and their employees.
The task includes:
i. Choosing a topic (choose one of the topics below).
ii. Searching the literature for relevant theories, concepts, and empirical findings.
iii. Writing a report that provides an in-depth analysis of a specific area within the topic using relevant literature (identified at ii.).
iv. Providing clear recommendations on policies and practices which should be developed and/or implemented by organisations to respond to issues identified as being of critical importance in performance management. These recommendationsneed to be clearly derived from the critical analysis (identified in iii) and supported by references.
v. Includinga minimum of TEN (10) scholarly or peer reviewed journal articlespublished within the last 10 years to support all the arguments presented in the report. You may cite the textbook and include articles dated prior to the last 10 years, but this does not count towards the minimum eight references. Websites (including dictionaries, encyclopaedias, business magazines available online, and blog posts) and will not be included in assessing whether you have met the minimum referencing requirements (i.e. these are not scholarly, peer reviewed sources and should be avoided in academic writing).

Abstract:
This paper proposes a system to differentiate between human-generated and AI-generated texts using stylometric analysis. The system analyzes text files and classifies writing styles by employing various clustering algorithms, such as k-means, k-means++, hierarchical, and DBSCAN. The effectiveness of these algorithms is measured using silhouette scores. The system successfully identifies distinct writing styles within documents, demonstrating its potential for plagiarism detection.
Introduction:
Stylometry, the study of linguistic and structural features in texts, is used for tasks like plagiarism detection, genre separation, and author verification. This paper leverages stylometric analysis to identify different writing styles and improve plagiarism detection methods.
Methodology:
The system includes data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, dimensional reduction, machine learning models for clustering, and performance comparison using silhouette scores. Feature extraction focuses on lexical features, vocabulary richness, and readability scores. The study uses a small dataset of texts from various authors and employs algorithms like k-means, k-means++, hierarchical clustering, and DBSCAN for clustering.
Results:
Experiments show that the system effectively identifies writing styles, with silhouette scores indicating reasonable to strong clustering when k=2. As the number of clusters increases, the silhouette scores decrease, indicating a drop in accuracy. K-means and k-means++ perform similarly, while hierarchical clustering is less optimized.
Conclusion and Future Work:
The system works well for distinguishing writing styles with two clusters but becomes less accurate as the number of clusters increases. Future research could focus on adding more parameters and optimizing the methodology to improve accuracy with higher cluster values. This system can enhance existing plagiarism detection tools, especially in academic settings.

Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

This should be placed after the References section. Please note that submissions that do not include required statements will be returned as incomplete. Funding Please describe any sources of funding that have supported the work. The statement should include details of any grants received (please give the name of the funding agency and grant number).

Author A.B. has received research support from Company A.” “The authors declare that no funds, grants, or other support were received during the preparation of this manuscript.” Competing Interests Authors are required to disclose financial or non-financial interests that are directly or indirectly related to the work submitted for publication. Interests within the last 3 years of beginning the work (conducting the research and preparing the work for submission) should be reported. Interests outside the 3-year time frame must be disclosed if they could reasonably be perceived as influencing the submitted work. Example statements: “Financial interests: Author A and B declare they have no financial interests. Author C has received speaker and consultant honoraria from Company M. Dr. C has received speaker honorarium and research funding from Company M and Company N. Author D has received travel support from Company O. Author Contributions Authors are encouraged to include a statement that specifies the contribution of every author to the research and preparation of the manuscript.
