Benchmark Assessments are instructionally targeted assessments based on power standards and units of instruction developed by the Office of Instruction. These assessments include multiple choice, constructed response, and extended response items aligned to West Virginia content standards. They are developed using the Acuity platform and custom items incorporating four levels of learning - knowledge, reasoning, skills, and products.
