Breakout of your comfort level. Remember, you can struggle to overdress but it comes naturally to under dress. Keep it classy . Though I urge everyone to try things they’ve never dreamed while dressing and editing, I as well stress the issue of keeping a presentable appearance. How we dress can affect us for the long run and we’d hate to see a picture ten years from now and have to question if we were in our right minds. Quotes on Fashion and Photography “ You don’t take a photograph, you make it ” - Ansel Adams -I interpret this quote to mean that a picture isn’t solely taken, its created through our features and our edits. We create the picture and divert it to be however we choose. I enjoy this quotation because it emphasizes our value. “ I always thought good photos are like good jokes, if you have to explain it, it just isn’t that good. “ – Anonymous - A picture portrays a story worth a thousand words. Your images should tell a million stories and if your viewer has to question your work, you should work harder to allow your images to speak for themselves. “ Clothes don’t make a man, but clothes have got many a man a good job.”- Herbert Harold Vreenland - I enjoy the humor based in the quote. Vreenland illustrates to us that though our clothes aren’t the aspects that may be all we obsess about but, our clothes without a doubt play a role in the jobs we strive for. Not everyone will base their lifestyle on clothing and their external appearance because, truth of the matter is, our external appearance is only a piece of our large puzzle but, our clothing can differentiate a job from Subways and a job in Elite Magazine.
Photography and Fashion Conor Doherty embodies the perfect portrait in his black and white shot. His model is classy and illustrates fashion, vintage, and shade. Though she doesn’t reveal to much, she is seen and though the picture isn’t overly detailed, it still tells a story.
