Organisations such as Instagram will collect as much personal
information they legally can, and sell it in order to generate
revenue (Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, 2015).
When using social media sites such as Instagram:
• Read important policies, or find out what others think about them.
• Always choose the highest level of privacy offered.
• Reveal as little as possible.
• Turn features such as geotagging OFF.
