To insert and crop a picture in a document, insert the picture using the Insert and Picture icons, then use the Format tab to enter a height and crop the picture by dragging edge handles to reduce the width. Right click the picture and select Format to access text wrapping options like Tight.

2. Place cursor where picture will be inserted

3. Click Insert tab

4. Click Picture icon

5. Find and select picture to be inserted

6. Click Insert

7. Click Format tab

8. Enter the height

10. Click Crop button

11. Click and drag edge handle to reduce width of picture

12. Handles from any edge may be moved to crop from the sides, top, or bottom

13. Right click anywhere on the picture to bring up the format menu

14. Click Picture Tools then Format

15. Click on Text Wrapping then Tight
