1. IDEA: - THE CONCEPT – O
INTRODUCTION:OUR INDUSTRY: - We are targeting Automobile Industry. Our product is very innovative and useful
equipment. Ours is a business of providing applied technical solutions to industry specific problem. We
have analyzed the automobile industry for various gaps in the user experience and came up with a
device to provide a solution to the problems faced.
Current Business:- There is as such no current business. Ours is completely newVenture, which would be
producing such product that has never existed before. It would be a breakthrough innovation that
would change the trends in Industry. It would eliminate the problem of car owners. It will enable
smooth functioning of car (as far as tyre punctures are concerned.)
Generally if our car’s tyre gets punctured, we realize it after it has already punctured. So, we end up
standing out in open with punctured tyre. We then change our tyre and the process wastes our time.

PLAN TO OVERCOME THESE BARRIERS:The device will address the following issues:

Measure tyre pressure and other car suspension related components and warn the user about a
punctured tyre before losing the entire pressure (2 minutes approx.).
Warn the driver about this – alignment of wheels in order to protect the suspension from
potential damage.
Measure the metal fatigue in various movable parts of axle and wheel hub in order to warn
about any damage.
The device will be mounted with a GPS device which will be sending an automatic query in case
of a breakdown to the service centre and they in turn will send a repair vehicle as soon as
possible.
The device will also act as a security system and its technical aspect is discussed later. Also in
case of theft we can track the vehicle easily with the GPS system of our device.
The technical aspects:The Concept- O is an ingenious piece of hi - tech equipment that will be fitted onto the wheel base of
the car near the chassis and axle interface. Mounted upon a circular plate and will be placed right above
brake drum/shoes.

2. What this device does is that (HOW IT WORKS):
Concept -O comes in sets of 4 as of now but may be sold in sets of 2 for two wheelers as well.
It has got a close clamp shell mechanism allowing it to be adjusted and mounted upon the wheel base of
any vehicle. The initial operations may involve informing the driver about puncture of any tyre and
delivering information like
loss of air pressure and
Time remaining before the tyre goes completely flat so that remedial measures can be taken
well before time.
In the initial rollout phase the device is being only sold for light- medium vehicles while the version for
heavy commercial vehicles may be rolled out after market response and customized R&D.
Once mounted the device uses its sensors measures the specific wheel pressure at any given point of
time of a journey on individual tyres. It also measures the tyre air pressure and axle health by
monitoring vibration index of wheels with the control calibrated readings at the time of configuration.
The shock absorbers and other components may also be included under the monitoring system of
Concept- O in the next phase. Warnings about having an excess of load on the vehicle in terms of weight
distribution throughout the vehicle base and individual tyres can help in protecting the user from
unintentionally damaging the vehicle. The device may warm the driver about the dis- alignment of
wheels well before any substantial damage to the wheels and axle. Whats more is that it can also be
used as protection equipment by just a simple press of a button that shell locks onto the drum of the
wheel jamming it and hence preventing any form of theft.
Concept - O will have a carbon fibre outer body to make it light and relatively flexible than steel while
being upto ten times stronger than it in order to sustain extreme pressures.
The internal hubs will be connected to a central on board processor situated inside the vehicle in order
to monitor and process the constant feed of data.
Inside the device we will house sensors encased in dedicated titanium alloy gear/ covers in order to
protect them from shocks.
The device will have features like specific tyre load measuring abilities and other features according to
specific need of commercial trucks and buses. This may also help to avoid accidents caused due
overloading of the vehicle
OPPORTUNITY:The market for such an invention is untapped and will be huge due to its numerous applications
potentials and development caliber. The market in terms of heavy duty trucks and commercial vehicles
is very huge as well due to the fact that these vehicles suffer from such problems very frequently leading
to huge losses for the owners.

3. We will follow a vendor specific approach to implement our product in the market. We plan to visit the
various automobile manufacturers with our idea and we expect the device will be readily incorporated
particularly in the luxury car segment due to the demand of such user friendly products.
The first phase will involve manufacturers like Audi, BMW and Merc. Etc.
This will also act as a market response for our product as we will get to know how well the customers
like the product and its use.
DiffusionWe need to create trust amongst users about the product, so that they get attracted to product
and use it
We will advertise by going to CAR DEALERS, through Newspapers, Brochures, Television etc etc.
Further up gradation in terms of technology and markets are lined up and we expect to reach
the commercial and heavy duty vehicles with more advanced feature within 2-3 years of
launching the concept –O.

customers to use the product and then give us feedback.
We will also contact automobile manufacturers( as stated earlier also), and automobile dealers,
who would attach the device free of cost, whenever customers come to buy the cars.
FUTURE OPPORTUNITY (OTHERS):Also a product with a complimentary technology and applicability to our product is being currently
launched by a London based firm and we plan to contact them in order to work with them jointly on a
more sophisticated device with better features and usage.
