This document outlines initial ideas and prototypes for an interactive webpage about the history of Trinity Buoy Wharf and Greenwich for the Museum of London. It discusses researching the locations' importance, conducting image research from the Museum's archive, and creating three prototype designs. The first prototype combines existing elements with Edward Bawden's techniques. The second explores map-inspired designs using various mediums. The third tests interactions like animating images on hover to display information.

2. Brief
Produce a interactive webpage informing people of the history and
importance/appreciation of the two locations (Trinity Buoy Wharf &
Greenwich) and their impact they had on Britain and London, for the
Museum of London.
Specifications;
• User interaction
• Inform users of their importance – geographical locations ?
• What impact they made – I.e. what events they were they in at the
time – how to affected ?

3. Research
Looked into other websites and
further history of the locations to
understand what time they were
around and key events they affected or
where in.
Collected a range of images primary
and secondary on the two locations to
help generate ideas.
Looked into the Archive of the
Museum of London to find further
images and Photos.

4. Prototype 1
Used elements I had already created and
combined it with elements from previous
existing artists – Edward Bawden, printmaker
& illustrator.
Created a collage of images found on the
Museum of London achieve and produced 3
ideas using techniques I had developed for my
response to the trip.

5. Prototype 2
Further looking into different ways I could
approach the design – inspired from looking
at images of maps and other designs
produced a range of smaller images using a
variety of mediums to combine for website
for the front page.
Created a test for what I want the design to
look like to be shown on the front cover.

6. Prototype 3
Testing out the implications that can be
used and possible solutions that can be
developed, bringing more ‘life’ and
interaction to the page.
Possibly make images animate to show
up when hovering over a button or image
to display information.
