There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

- 2. The past tense of the verb to be has two forms These are was and were Subject To be I Was You Were He Was She Was It Was We Were You Were They Were
- 3. Affirmative. Subject+ To be (Was/Were)+ rest of the sentence. He was in the garden. They were in the cine. You were in the pool. I was eating in my grandmother house.
- 4. Negative. Subject+ To be (Was/Were)+ NOT+ Rest of the sentence. She was not in the school. You were not in your house. It wasn´t my fault You weren´t in the school
- 5. Question. To be+ Subject+ Rest of sentence. Where you in the cine? Was he in the party? We can also used in a negative form. To be+ NOT+ Subject+ Rest of sentence. Was not he in the house? Weren´t you in the pool?
- 6. Used to. We use “Used to” for actions that happened in the past and are not longer true. Subject + Used to+ rest of the sentence. Example I used to eat hamburger everyday. I didn´t used to be here. They used to stay in the school after class. In a question form it would be for asking about past habits Did you used to be a soccer player? Didn´t you used to play basketball?
