6. What is the difference between Cohn’s
disease and Ulcerative colitis?
• Crohn’s disease is a localized transmural
chronic inflammatory bowel disease, most
commonly affecting distal ilium and proximal
colon, and is associated with perianal and/or
mouth ulcers.
• Ulcerative colitis is a inflammatory bowel
disease causing recurrent ulcerations to the
mucosal wall of the colon.
