The document discusses the history and techniques of bunting in kickball. It notes that bunting originated as a Chinese military strategy during the Three Kingdoms period. The strategy was later developed by the ancient military strategist Sun Tzu. The document then provides basics on how to properly bunt, such as using your right foot and aiming towards third base. It also shares a "little known secret" about a "Magic Box" area of the field where it is impossible to get someone out if they bunt the ball there.
This document outlines how two teachers, Amanda Cataneo and Raquel Maya Carson, structured student talk and writing activities in their dual language classroom to analyze characters from fairy tales. Over the course of a month, students built background knowledge on character traits and practiced describing characters verbally and in writing. Each week focused on a different story and scaffolded students from identifying character actions, to choosing character traits, to stating opinions on whether characters were good, bad, or misunderstood with evidence. Teachers provided structures like exit tickets and language objectives to connect the daily talk to a culminating written response.
Daily iron supplementation is more effective than weekly supplementation for preventing anemia in infants under 7 years old. Three studies found daily supplementation significantly improved hemoglobin levels and reduced anemia prevalence compared to controls or weekly supplementation. Additionally, early iron supplementation starting at 2 weeks of age may improve iron status for very low birth weight infants, as indicated by higher serum ferritin levels, compared to later supplementation starting at 6 weeks of age. However, one study found early supplementation did not improve ferritin or hematological parameters in very low birth weight infants. Overall, the studies suggest daily iron supplementation, and potentially early supplementation, may help prevent anemia in young children, especially those with low birth weights, but the optimal timing requires more research
This document summarizes two literary theories: diaspora theory and queer theory. Diaspora theory examines literature by populations forced to leave their homelands, such as Jews living outside Israel. It has expanded to include voluntary migration for opportunities. Queer theory rejects traditional gender and sexuality categories, studying mismatches between sex, gender, and desire. It focuses on bisexuality, lesbianism, gayness, cross-dressing, and transsexuality. Both theories examine how non-normative groups face societal problems and aim to show that homosexuality is normal.
This document defines and provides examples of common graphic aids such as diagrams, timelines, maps, charts, and graphs. It explains that graphic aids help readers understand and visualize information from nonfiction texts. The document includes practice questions about graphic aids like charts to help readers learn how to interpret different types of visual representations.

INDICAZIONI PER COMPILAZIONE REGISTRI ELETTRONICI E SCHEDE DI
VALUTAZIONE
urge chiarire alcuni passaggi importanti.

decimali)
- Premere SALVA VALUTAZIONI 1° QUADRIMESTRE.

seguito.
segreteria.
