Community Service Activities-IX: 31 Years of Community Service Experiences
(World Pace, Plantation, Blood Donation, Sanitary Latrine Pits, Mega Camps and Workshops):
2008-2016 Organized 112 World Peace and National Integration Camps with student
volunteers from 364 collages of Kakatiya Universities of Telangana State.
2015-2016 Organized State Level Mega Camp with 200 volunteers from 10 Universities of
Telangana State.
2014-2015 Dug 2247 Individual Sanitary Latrines Pits (ISLP) for Poor families in rural
Areas & 100 Sanitary Latrines Pits (SLP) in Govt. Schools and Colleges (it‟s
worth approximately 58.67 Lakh).
2011-2015 Organized 596 Volunteer Blood Donations Camps and Collected 65,129 units of
Blood in three District Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam,(it‟s worth
approximate Rs. 5.24 crore).
2011-2015 Planted Eight Six lakh saplings in three district with a caption Go Green &
Grow Green (it‟s worth approximately 3.4 crore)
2011-2015 Established 300 “Red Ribbon Clubs” in Degree and Junior Colleges of three
Districts i.e., Adilabad, Khammam and Warangal creating awareness among the
student and volunteers as well as rural & urban people.
2011-2015 Organized 20 Skill Development Training Programme for 1000 Girl volunteers
on Mehandi Applications, Beautician, Mushroom Cultivation and Vermi Compost
for Entrepreneurship Development.
2011-2015 “Cup of Rice”, a novel charity programme introduce for volunteers at college
level to collect rice from neighbors and donate it to orphans and age-old people
(350 quintals of Rice)
2012-2014 Conducted Two NSS Mega Special Camps at Medam Jathara (State Festival)
involving 500 volunteers (2012, 2014) to serve devotees.
2011-2015 Conducted 50 Workshop on Teenage Temptation for the college students.
2011-2015 Conducted 138 Workshop on Stress and Tension Free- Exams for volunteers
and college students.
2011-2015 Created Awareness Programme on Legal Literacy for volunteers and college

1987-1990 Participated in two Special Camps as NSS Volunteer, from Kakatiya Degree
College, Hanamkonda at Banjara Palli and Medaram Villages.
1987-1990 Participated in National Service Scheme (NSS) Regular Activities as a volunteer
for Three Years.
1984-1986 Participated in Medaram Jatara as Tribal Student Volunteer as part of
Community Service Programme.
Roots-X:
 Born in a rural tribal family in remote village Papaiahpally of Govindaraopet
mandal in Warangal district, Telangana State-India.
 First a shepherd boy and then mastered in agricultural operations at a tender age
before learnt alphabets. At present Professor of Economics in Kakatiya
University, Editor an International Journal of Environment & Development and
prestigious Indira Gandhi NSS Award conferred by the President of India &
Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of USA.
