Step 1:- Feel
• Shopkeepers and vendors use plastic bags which is toxic to soil.
• Plastic packets block the drains
• Harmful for the stray animals like cows and dogs who swallow the plastic
along the food.
• Increases global warming.
• Burning of plastic releases harmful gases into the environment.
Step 2:- Imagine
• Discussed with the group members and came up with the idea to make
posters to make people aware of these problems.
• Planned to make paper bags from old newspapers.
• Distribute these paper bags among a few shops near the school.
Step 3:- Do
2. • Collected old newspapers.
• Made posters and displayed them around school to spread awareness
among. students and their parents.
• Made newspaper bags and coloured, painted and decorated them.
• Distributed bags among shopkeepers near he area.
Step 4:- Share
• Text and illustrative document, pictures and file.
• We have promised not to use plastic bags, instead we will carry a paper bag or a
cloth bag for the things we buy.
