  3. 3. We are lucky to have 2 recycling <br />centres in our village<br />
  4. 4. Things we <br />already do <br />in our <br />school<br />
  5. 5. We have been <br />encouraging our <br />students to recycle by <br />visiting <br />the local recycling area<br />
  6. 6. Reception used <br />recycled materials<br />and music shakers<br />To make <br />spy scopes<br />
  7. 7. Year 1 made some<br /> posters to <br />encourage more people to recycle<br />
  8. 8. And reused waste <br />packaging to make models<br />
  9. 9. Year 2 brought in used <br />packaging <br />from home and visited <br />the recycling centre <br />
  10. 10. They discussed what <br />happens to the rubbish<br />when the containers are <br />emptied and made posters<br />
  11. 11. Year 4 thought <br />about recycling<br />and created their <br />own <br />recycling superhero <br />posters <br />
  12. 12. Year 5 used their ICT <br />time to research<br />water and produced a leaflet<br />to encourage people to be <br />careful about how much <br />they use <br />
  13. 13. Year 6 also researched <br />water and made their own<br />fliers to encourage<br />people to think about<br />ways they can save or <br />reuse water<br />
  14. 14. We sent some of these projects<br />home to encourage the <br />students parents to recycle <br />and others were <br />displayed <br />around the school <br />and in the local area <br />
  15. 15.
  16. 16. We thought about ways <br />of recycling,<br />reducing and reusing<br />materials and resources to <br />encourage the next <br />generation <br />to look after the environment<br />
