- 1. THE WRITING STUDIO Dear Mike Imprixis, March 6th , 2014 Thank you for hosting the workshop for students, “Research Papers Made Easy,” on Wednesday, March 6th , 2014. The event was well-attended, with more than 25 students, so I am very grateful that someone with your expertise and engaging teaching style led the discussion that reached so many students. By taking the initiative to lead the workshop, you’ve helped to build a community of writers at Suffolk and to enhance students’ perception of the Writing Studio as an effective and inclusive student service. By helping to write the PowerPoint presentation that we used, you’ve shown the type of intellectual and pedagogical leadership that our center needs to grow and that our students and staff need to emulate in order to achieve the college’s mission of excellence.
