The coronavirus tricks its way into human cells by disguising itself with sugars on its surface, like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Researchers at the University of Southampton found that the SARS-CoV-2 virus uses sugars called glycans to shield its spikes and avoid detection by the immune system when attaching to and entering cells. However, the coronavirus has a lower density of glycans than other viruses such as HIV, meaning it is less protected and the immune system faces fewer obstacles in overcoming the virus. This lower glycan density could provide advantages to researchers working to develop a vaccine.
Pathogens can be bacteria or viruses that cause infectious diseases. Bacteria reproduce by splitting in two and often produce toxins, while viruses take over cells and damage or destroy them. In the 1850s, Ignaz Semmelweis discovered that handwashing reduced deaths from childbed fever in hospitals, showing it was caused by an infectious agent transmitted from autopsies. However, his ideas were initially mocked by the medical community.

Pithovirus sibericum is a giant virus that was revived from permafrost buried for 30,000 years in Siberia and is still infectious. It is the largest virus discovered at 1.5 micrometers long and comparable in size to small bacteria. The virus was found using amoebae as bait to fish for giant viruses in permafrost samples provided by Russian scientists. Pithovirus has unusual properties for a virus, including building replication factories in its host's cytoplasm rather than the nucleus, and having a smaller genome than similar giant viruses despite its larger size. While giant viruses primarily infect amoebae, there is evidence that another giant virus may have infected a human, indicating these viruses

Here are the key steps in order:
1. Chemotaxis - Phagocytes are attracted to the site of infection.
2. Attachment - The phagocyte attaches to the pathogen via cell surface receptors binding to proteins on the pathogen.
3. Phagocytosis - The phagocyte membrane envelops and engulfs the pathogen, forming an internal vesicle called a phagosome.
4. Phagosome formation - The phagosome containing the engulfed pathogen forms inside the phagocyte.
5. Lysosome fusion - Lysosomes containing digestive enzymes fuse with the phagosome.
6. Digestion - Enzymes within the phagolysosome break down the pathogen.

This case study describes a 21-year-old female with a history of chronic alcohol abuse who presents with abdominal pain. The patient drinks up to a gallon of vodka daily and also has a history of polysubstance abuse including methadone, methamphetamines, and marijuana. She has had prior episodes of alcoholic hepatitis, cholangitis, pancreatitis, and an upper GI bleed related to her alcohol use. The document then discusses the metabolism of alcohol in the body and effects on organ systems such as the liver, brain, and others.
The most common fear is arachnophobia, with 10% of men and 50% of women afraid of spiders. The second most common is social phobia, an extreme fear of being judged or humiliating oneself in social situations. The document then lists the top 10 fears, which include aerophobia (fear of flying), agoraphobia (fear of inescapable situations), claustrophobia (fear of confined spaces), acrophobia (fear of heights), emetophobia (fear of vomit), carcinophobia (fear of cancer), brontophobia (fear of thunderstorms), and necrophobia (fear of death).
Trichotillomania (TTM) is a compulsive hair-pulling disorder that causes people to pull out their hair from any area of the body. It can range from occasional light pulling to regular removal of large portions of hair. TTM is classified as an impulse control disorder and is often triggered by stress or other stimuli. Common signs include hiding bald spots with wigs or styles and pulling when hands are free during other activities. While there is no cure, treatment focuses on preventing pulling through techniques like bandages or fidget toys and avoiding confrontation about hair loss.

This document provides instructions for performing an experiment to determine an unknown force using two known masses on a force table. The independent variable is the magnitude of the two known masses, the dependent variable is the angle between the masses, and the unknown is the force. The hypothesis is that the angle is directly proportional to the known masses. Through multiple trials measuring mass, force, and angle, data is collected and used to calculate the unknown force. While the results generally support the hypothesis, there is some variation, possibly due to random error.

Why i don't feel anything during the contact sessionSpooky2 Rife
The document discusses reasons why a person may not feel anything during a contact session with a Spooky2 device. It lists seven factors that determine whether a frequency can be felt: 1) frequencies over 10kHz cannot be felt, 2) a minimum amplitude of 14V is needed, 3) the CS port reduces tingling, 4) reducing amplitude for frequencies under 10kHz decreases sensitivity, 5) individual sensitivity varies, 6) hydration affects current flow, and 7) the Spooky Central contact mode uses ultra-short high voltage pulses that cannot be felt. The document provides guidance on understanding why a user may not sense contact frequencies during a session.
General Rules on Frequency Wobbles and Feathering Spooky2 Rife
The document discusses rules for frequency wobbles and feathering when using a Spooky2 device. For non-living things like metals and toxins, the harmonic wobble setting should be set to None, as non-living things cannot mutate. For living things that naturally belong in the body like organs, the setting should also be None to provide precise frequencies. However, for living things that do not belong in the body, like bacteria or viruses, the wobble setting should be other than None to account for their ability to mutate over time. The document also discusses wobbling individual frequencies versus all frequencies in a sequence and recommends a feathering of +-0.02% for remote use.

PGx Analysis in VarSeq: A User’s PerspectiveGolden Helix
Since our release of the PGx capabilities in VarSeq, we’ve had a few months to gather some insights from various use cases. Some users approach PGx workflows by means of array genotyping or what seems to be a growing trend of adding the star allele calling to the existing NGS pipeline for whole genome data. Luckily, both approaches are supported with the VarSeq software platform. The genotyping method being used will also dictate what the scope of the tertiary analysis will be. For example, are your PGx reports a standalone pipeline or would your lab’s goal be to handle a dual-purpose workflow and report on PGx + Diagnostic findings.
The purpose of this webcast is to:
Discuss and demonstrate the approaches with array and NGS genotyping methods for star allele calling to prep for downstream analysis.
Following genotyping, explore alternative tertiary workflow concepts in VarSeq to handle PGx reporting.
Moreover, we will include insights users will need to consider when validating their PGx workflow for all possible star alleles and options you have for automating your PGx analysis for large number of samples. Please join us for a session dedicated to the application of star allele genotyping and subsequent PGx workflows in our VarSeq software.

Storyboard on Skin- Innovative Learning (M-pharm) 2nd sem. (Cosmetics)MuskanShingari
Skin is the largest organ of the human body, serving crucial functions that include protection, sensation, regulation, and synthesis. Structurally, it consists of three main layers: the epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis (subcutaneous layer).
1. **Epidermis**: The outermost layer primarily composed of epithelial cells called keratinocytes. It provides a protective barrier against environmental factors, pathogens, and UV radiation.
2. **Dermis**: Located beneath the epidermis, the dermis contains connective tissue, blood vessels, hair follicles, and sweat glands. It plays a vital role in supporting and nourishing the epidermis, regulating body temperature, and housing sensory receptors for touch, pressure, temperature, and pain.
3. **Hypodermis**: Also known as the subcutaneous layer, it consists of fat and connective tissue that anchors the skin to underlying structures like muscles and bones. It provides insulation, cushioning, and energy storage.
Skin performs essential functions such as regulating body temperature through sweat production and blood flow control, synthesizing vitamin D when exposed to sunlight, and serving as a sensory interface with the external environment.
Maintaining skin health is crucial for overall well-being, involving proper hygiene, hydration, protection from sun exposure, and avoiding harmful substances. Skin conditions and diseases range from minor irritations to chronic disorders, emphasizing the importance of regular care and medical attention when needed.
CLASSIFICATION OF H1 ANTIHISTAMINICS-
FIRST GENERATION ANTIHISTAMINICS-
1)HIGHLY SEDATIVE-DIPHENHYDRAMINE,DIMENHYDRINATE,PROMETHAZINE,HYDROXYZINE 2)MODERATELY SEDATIVE- PHENARIMINE,CYPROHEPTADINE, MECLIZINE,CINNARIZINE
3)MILD SEDATIVE-CHLORPHENIRAMINE,DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE
TRIPROLIDINE,CLEMASTINE
SECOND GENERATION ANTIHISTAMINICS-FEXOFENADINE,
LORATADINE,DESLORATADINE,CETIRIZINE,LEVOCETIRIZINE,
AZELASTINE,MIZOLASTINE,EBASTINE,RUPATADINE. Mechanism of action of 2nd generation antihistaminics-
These drugs competitively antagonize actions of
histamine at the H1 receptors.
Pharmacological actions-
Antagonism of histamine-The H1 antagonists effectively block histamine induced bronchoconstriction, contraction of intestinal and other smooth muscle and triple response especially wheal, flare and itch. Constriction of larger blood vessel by histamine is also antagonized.
2) Antiallergic actions-Many manifestations of immediate hypersensitivity (type I reactions)are suppressed. Urticaria, itching and angioedema are well controlled.3) CNS action-The older antihistamines produce variable degree of CNS depression. But in case of 2nd gen antihistaminics there is less CNS depressant property as these cross BBB to significantly lesser extent.
4) Anticholinergic action- many H1 blockers
in addition antagonize muscarinic actions of ACh. BUT IN 2ND gen histaminics there is Higher H1 selectivitiy : no anticholinergic side effects
As the world population is aging, Health tourism has become vitally important and will be increased day by day. Because
of the availability of quality health services and more favorable prices as well as to shorten the waiting list for medical
services regionally and internationally. There are some aspects of managing and doing marketing activities in order for
medical tourism to be feasible, in a region called as clustering in a region with main stakeholders groups includes Health
providers, Tourism cluster, etc. There are some related and affecting factors to be considered for the feasibility of medical
tourism within this study such as competitiveness, clustering, Entrepreneurship, SMEs. One of the growth phenomenon
is Health tourism in the city of Izmir and Turkey. The model of five competitive forces of Porter and The Diamond model
that is an economical model that shows the four main factors that affect the competitiveness of a nation and its industries
in this study. The short literature of medical tourism and regional clustering have been mentioned.

Two of our most intrepid Morgellons researchers have reported
something very interesting. After reading papers on nanobacteria,
they started running sets for four sufferers. For all four, a major
Herx immediately set in, itching and "needle-stick" sensations
increased, lymph nodes swelled, skin developed sore and swollen
red patches, plugs started to pop out unassisted, and blood
pressure dropped.

So I did some research of my own and found that Dr. Jeff Sutherland states
that Nanobacterium sanguineum and Bacillus licheniformis are always
present in every cancer, and must be removed before the cancer can be
successfully dealt with. Why? Because both these organisms suppress the
immune system.
In order for Morgellons to develop successfully in the body, the immune
system must be disabled or damaged. The enzyme nagalase is something
else that stops the immune system from working correctly, so I think this is
an area that Morgies could profitably address.

There are frequencies for Bacillus Licheniformis in the database, but just
one single frequency for Nanobacter. However, I'm adding new sets below
which you can copy and paste into your custom file. I'll also be adding
these to the November database anyway.
