Visitors also benefit both students and teachers by providing different insights and unusual experiences that build on the teacher's knowledge. However, teachers must carefully plan visits and consider factors like ensuring no discrimination between religions when visiting religious places and maintaining student control and respect for visitors.

Importance of Festivals for Children: Dussehra & Diwali 2023
1. THE IMPORTANCE OF
FESTIVALS FOR CHILDREN
— UPCOMING FESTIVAL
DUSSEHRA AND DIWALI 2023
Introduction
When it comes to kids, we at Kids Kingdom Preschool know how
important holidays are. Festivals are great for kids because they
make them happy, teach them new things, and give them a sense of
belonging. As we look forward to enjoying Diwali and Dussehra in
2023, let’s talk about why these holidays are important for kids and
how you can make the most of them while also taking advantage of
our special holiday offer: Get up to 75% off the yearly fee for
enrolling in pre-school or day care.

WHY FESTIVALS ARE IMPORTANT FOR KIDS
1. Understanding other cultures and heritage:
One great way to teach kids about their cultural background is to
take them to festivals. At Kids Kingdom Preschool, we think it’s
important for kids to know where they come from in order to feel
proud of their culture and identity.
2. Values and bonds with others:
At our childcare, we stress the value of friendship and community.
Family bonds can be strengthened, ideals like empathy and
compassion can be taught, and a sense of community can be built at
festivals.
3. Growth in emotions:
When kids go to festivals, they can feel a lot of different feelings,
which makes them more emotionally aware and strong. These
feelings and events are very important to their growth and
development.
3. Why festivals are good for kids
Let us now talk about the specific benefits of events for kids, like
those at Kids Kingdom Preschool:
1. Teaching through happiness:
The holiday parties at our preschool are a fun and interesting way to
teach kids about history, mythology, and cultural practices. For
example, Dussehra celebrates the win of good over evil, and we use
this time to teach important lessons about life.
2. Being creative and imaginative:
Children’s creativity and imagination are sparked by festival
activities. we love these chances for our little students to show off
their artistic skills. There are a lot of things that can be done, from
making diyas for Diwali to making Ravana statues for Dussehra.
