1. Immigration
In orderto fix the immigrationprobleminAmericaIbelieveseveral changesneedtobe made.I
thinkimmigrantsoverthe age of 18 shouldbe allowedtolegallyenterthe countryandtake up
residence if theyhave suitable income toownproperty andagreestoworkor receive aneducation
while payingtaxeslike everyone else. While livingunderthese guidelinestheywillhave all of the rights
that an Americancitizenhas. If the individual doesthisfor5 yearsand doesnotget intoany type of legal
trouble thatresultsina felonythenIbelieve theyshouldbe grantedcitizenshipinthe UnitedStates.I
believeanyimmigrantwhoentersthe countryunderthe age of 18 shouldbe requiredtofinishhigh
school and geta job or attendcollege if theywanttotake up permanentresidence inthe UnitedStates.
While livingunderthese guidelinestheywill have all of the rightsthatanAmericanCitizenhas. If the
individualfollowsthese guidelinesfor5yearswithoutgettingafelony thentheyshouldbe granted
citizenshipinthe UnitedStates. Ibelieve thatimmigrantswhodonothave suitable incometolive inthe
UnitedStatesshouldstill be allowedtoworkhere aslongas theykeepworking. If these individuals
eventuallyworktheirwayoutof thislifestyle anddecide toobtainpropertyinthe U.Sthenif theyfollow
the guidelineslistedabovetheyshouldbe grantedcitizenship. If achildisborn inthe U.S to parentswho
