2. About us
Indian Medical Association Medical Students Network (IMA MSN ) is the student's wing
of IMA, aiming to connect medical students from all the medical colleges in India with
the same goals and purpose as IMA while also providing a means for curricular and
extra curricular activities to students.
The objectives of Indian Medical Association Medical Students Network (IMA MSN)
are:
1. To sensitize the students in medical college of modern medicine, about IMA and
its activities with an aim to enroll them as a member of IMA in future.
2. To help and guide them regarding future prospect in medical career, education,
ethics, research and employment avenues.
3. To help and guide them to intervene if any problem arises during their educational
career.
4. To identify talents among MBBS students and to help them for further
improvement.
5. To involve them in various social and cultural activities and national health
programmes.
6. To publish matters towards accomplishing the objectives.

6. Membership Status
• 10804 total active members from 10th November
2020 to 10th January, 2024.
• 1779 Members enrolled from 01 January 2022 to
31 December 2022
• 1740 Members enrolled from 01 January 2023 to
31 December 2023

7. Membership Fees & Fees Distribution
1. Membership fees will be a onetime payment of Rs. 500.
2. The whole entrance fee will be credited to IMA MSN
National Account from which up to 50% can be spend to
the Local MSN unit activities and 25% to State MSN Unit
activities on receipt of report of activities and accounts.
3. Among 50% to Local & 25% to state MSN Unit-15 % of
amount should be used for advertisement & Banners to
Promote MSN in their State.
4. MSN Membership will be for the period of 5 years or till
he complete M.B.B.S which ever is less.
