Energy in food is measured in calories and allows organisms to carry out life functions, while matter provides the physical building blocks needed for growth. Photosynthesis is how producers like plants obtain food energy from sunlight and convert it into sugars that both plants and consumers can use. Food chains demonstrate how energy and matter are transferred as organisms consume other organisms for sustenance.

6. DIGMAAN SA ASYA AT PAGTATAPOS NG
DIGMAAN
Nag-siklab rin ang digmaan sa Pilipinas. Dulot ito ng pagsabog
ng Pearl Harbor sa Hawaii, Malaya (Malaysia at Singapore sa
ngayon),at iba pa. Inutos ni Franklin D. Roosevelt ang pagsama
ng Amerika sa digmaan. Ang Pamahalaang Komonwelt ni Manuel
L. Quezon ay inilikas sa Malinta Tunnel sa Corregidor. Nilisan
nina Quezon at MacArthur ang Pilipinas, si Quezon sa Amerika;
