The Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) is an organization dedicated to professional development in materials management. It has over 43 branches across India. IIMM offers the Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (GDMM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (PGDMM). GDMM is a 2-year program by distance or contact learning with subjects like purchasing management, logistics, and operations. PGDMM is a 3-year program for senior management preparation with advanced subjects and a dissertation. Both programs involve examinations twice per year.

4. Graduate Diploma In Materials Management (GDMM)
The Graduate Diploma in Materials Management is recognized for the purpose of recruitment to
superior posts and services
under the Central Government. This is also accredited by the International Federation of Purchasing and
supply Management
(IFPSM), Atlanta, USA. IIMM is the first Institute in the Asia Pacific Region to be certified by IFPSM.
A Board of Studies consisting of leading personalities from academic and professional field controls the
courses at the national level.
The faculty is drawn from experts in the industry, educational and professional institutions in the country.
Prospectus: - Prospectus can be obtained from 48 branches & Headquarter by payment of Rs 500/- in cash
or by sending
Bank Pay orders / DD of Rs 600/- drawn in favor of ‘IIMM NHQ Collection a/c’ payable at Mumbai to NHQ
address.

Eligibility Criteria
Any Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with two years experience OR
A Diploma in engineering /Technology / Management approved by AICTE/Board of Technical Education
with two years experience.
Duration
2 years by Correspondence mode (distance education) - 4 semesters x 6 months each
2 years by Contact mode (oral instructions) classes commencing first week of January &
July - 4 semesters x 6 months each

Continuous Education
Students passing GDMM with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible for enrolling to the PGDMM
(entry into 3rd year) Course by Correspondence of two Semesters.

10. Post Graduate Diploma In Materials Management (PGDMM)
This prestigious professional course aims at preparing students for the
senior level management position. The syllabus has been structured at par
with IFPSM standards giving due consideration to the Indian economic
environment.

• A Degree in any discipline from a University or its equivalent with
50% marks + 2 years work experience
