Ghana's Country Programme from IFAD focuses on addressing three major divides: rural-urban, north-south, and female-male. It has four thrusts: 1) achieving sustainable agriculture and food security through commodity chains, 2) developing pro-poor enterprises and rural finance, 3) strengthening local institutions through community approaches, and 4) developing responsive pro-poor policies. Key programs under each thrust aim to improve livelihoods and reduce poverty in Ghana's rural communities through agriculture, enterprise development, access to finance, and advocacy.
