This document describes internship opportunities in African cities for students through the International Field Program (IFP) in 2012. Students can intern with organizations focused on slum communities in Southern Africa through Slum Dwellers International, or pursue other projects in Uganda. Specific opportunities include working with communities in South Africa, Namibia, Malawi, Swaziland, Botswana, and Uganda on housing, health, and municipal projects. Prerequisites include an urban development course, and no language skills are required. The coordinators provide contact information for those interested.
