The Lebanese Library Association aims to strengthen libraries in Lebanon through various projects and activities. They have adopted modules from the Building Stronger Library Associations program to improve governance, membership involvement, communication, and advocacy. "ONE WORLD ONE LIBRARY NETWORK" Working Internationally for Libraries Conference 2021 June 25, 2021 CILIP Working Internationally for Libraries Conference was a one-day virtual event supported by Arts Council England, in partnership with Libraries Connected, British Library, British Council, Carnegie UK Trust, CILIP International Libraries & Information Group, and CILIP Public & Mobile Libraries Group. The 2021 Conference explored ways of connecting with library services and sector professionals from across the world to inspire and inform local library services. Speakers from a diverse range of regions – UK, Europe, Canada, Africa, and the Middle East - shared best practices, new ideas, and successful examples of international working projects. Cohoes Library District Initiative

The Cohoes Public Library is seeking to establish a library district through a vote on June 9th. As a municipal library, it has lost over $120,000 in funding since 2009 due to budget cuts. This has led to reductions in hours, programs, and materials. A library district would provide stable, community-based funding and allow the library to restore lost services and programs. It would cost the average homeowner $97 per year. If approved, the district would generate $490,000 annually to support expanded hours, staffing, and collections at the library.

Asthe depository for local history records, the institutional records of the university, and for the records and collections of the Augusta Richmond County Historical Society (ARCHS), Augusta University's Special Collections & Institutional Archives' partnerships with other record keepers present a number of unique opportunities, and challenges. In this presentation, I highlight the opportunities and challenges inherent in working closely with other record-keepers, and discuss how this process of ongoing collaboration speaks to the importance of the records we keep about our collections—both for looking at the past, and for ensuring access to records in the future.
