Salvador Vilaseca y Anguera was born in Reus, Spain in 1896 and died in 1975. He conducted significant scientific research that brought prestige to Catalonia. In 1933, he co-founded the Museu de Reus museum. Throughout his career, he held several prestigious positions including founding the College of Forensic Doctors in 1936 and serving as the Provincial Commissioner of Excavations until 1970. He published over 300 books, received many awards including the gold medal of the city of Reus, and had his portrait included in the Gallery of Illustrious Sons of Reus.

Excavaciones until January 1970.

published three hundred books.
