The process of shrouding something in myth is complex with many steps. First, an event or object is mystified through fanciful stories that lack evidence and prioritize imagination over fact. Over time, these unproven tales are repeated so often that they become accepted as truth even though their factual basis remains unclear. The original truth becomes obscured as myth and mystery replace verifiable information, leaving future generations to speculate on what really occurred or existed in the past.
The document summarizes two lectures on social psychology topics:
1) The first lecture discussed conformity and group behavior, using an experiment where most students gave the wrong answer to influence one student. It also showed a video about bystanders failing to help a kidnapped girl.
2) The second lecture covered controlled vs automatic thinking. Controlled thinking is deliberate while automatic thinking can be impulsive and unconscious, potentially leading to risky behaviors when strongly emotional like suicide risks after a breakup. Humans are often led by emotions before rational thinking.
This document provides details about a charity event organized by a group of students to raise funds for Rumah Charis, a charity organization that provides care for the elderly and children. The group set a fundraising target of RM2000 and held a 5-day charity drive on their university campus selling products like caps, t-shirts and providing camera consulting services. They analyzed competition from other student groups running similar booths and ensured their products were of high quality. In the end they managed to raise a total of RM2010.40 through sales, donations and a RM300 sponsorship, exceeding their original target.

The interviewee believes that the center of the mosque under the dome and chandelier best promotes spiritual sense of Tawhid. He feels that outdoor gardens, water fountains, and a nice temperature enhance kusyuk towards Allah in prayer. The best mosque atmosphere for promoting kusyuk includes colored glass, water sounds from fountains, and echoes of praying. He finds individual kusyuk is best in a congregation that is neither too large nor too small. The physical scale of a mosque can affect kusyuk, with a large scale inspiring awe - the Shah Alam Mosque being a local example of good scale. Ornamentation like chandeliers, colored glass, and light effects increase the holy atmosphere
The document discusses the concepts of sense of place and spirit of place. It explains that sense of place refers to an individual's experience and perception of a particular setting, while spirit of place refers to the distinctive atmosphere or essence of a place. It also discusses how sense of place can be developed through careful observation of places and appreciation of their unique qualities. Virtual realities pose challenges to conveying authentic sense of place, as they are not direct sensory experiences of real settings.
