They established an action plan after conducting an environmental review of the school. Some of their accomplishments include planting over 50 plants and two fruit trees in the sensory garden, running school assemblies, planting over 600 bulbs and 430 trees on the school grounds, and composting all fruit waste. The school participated in Switch Off Fortnight, where children learned to save energy and made over 450 pledges. For their efforts, the POD website awarded the school with a Gold and Silver medal. Going forward, the Green Council aims to further reduce waste and consumption in school, develop the wildlife garden, and work towards achieving the Green

Ezio Auditore was a Florentine noble who sought revenge against the Borgias after Rodrigo had his father and brothers executed falsely for treason. Martin Luther King

King fought for equal rights for black and white Americans and led the first major nonviolent civil rights organization. Some of his major achievements included helping to end bus segregation and delivering his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech during the March on Washington in 1963. However, his advocacy also led to him being arrested over 20 times and assaulted. Ultimately, King was assassinated in 1968 at the age of 39 when he was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee.
Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela was born in South Africa and fought for the rights of black South Africans against the system of apartheid. He was imprisoned for 27 years for his anti-apartheid activities. After his release, Mandela became the first black President of South Africa and worked to dismantle apartheid. He received the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end racial segregation and establish democracy in South Africa through non-violent means. Mandela remains a global symbol of reconciliation, freedom, and human rights.
Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks was born in 1913 in Alabama. She attended segregated schools and worked for the NAACP. In 1955, she refused to give up her seat to a white passenger on a bus, which led to her arrest. Her arrest sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott, a 381-day boycott of the bus system organized by Martin Luther King Jr. that challenged racial segregation in public transit. The boycott contributed to a Supreme Court ruling that declared Alabama's bus segregation laws unconstitutional.
