This document outlines the philosophy, goals, curriculum, instruction methods, and resources for an entry-level Master's in Occupational Therapy program. The program is guided by the core values of occupation, participation, collaboration, adaptation, advocacy, innovation, and evidence-based practice. It aims to develop generalist occupational therapists who are knowledgeable about the lifespan, can articulate occupation-based theory and evidence-based practice, and are prepared to sit for the national certification exam. The curriculum and instruction will be student-centered, innovative, and stimulate learning through a variety of formats and technologies. Fieldwork will support occupation-based practice and promote the profession.
