Ice breaker to break the ice in the first day

2. Snap, clap, face, steal
“Put your hand in the
air, like you just don’t
care, and high five a
partner.”
When I say “clap,” ss clap once. When I say
“snap,” they snap once. If I say, “face,” they
make a funny face at each other. When I say,
“steal,” the first person to steal the pen/pencil
that is place between them earns a point.
If ss do the wrong motion (person steals the
pen instead of snapping), ss lose a point.
It’s helpful to have the pair decide ahead of
time where they want to keep their hands

6. Our classroom constitution
1. Greet your teachers and your friends when you
enter the class. Please don’t be on mute!
2. Be decent! Knock first if the door is closed!
3. To put your elbow on the disk and not raise your
arm and make weird noises.
4. To respect the one who’s answering and give her/
him time to think and answer.
5. Don’t make fun of those who might get things
wrong. We’re all here to learn.
6. Ask questions related to the session. Don’t ask
about the break time or the next session.
7. Leave the class as clean as it was in the morning.
The nannies shouldn’t pick up your trash.
8. Never use Arabic in my presence!
9. Using Arabic during group work or activity
suspends your team out.
10. I only allow one at a time to go to the restroom.
Please don’t ask if someone is already out.

7. Our classroom constitution
1. Eating (sandwiches no snacks) and
drinking is allowed during the first 10 min
of the session.
2. T for toilet. Show me the sign in your place
not in front of my face my face.
3. We work on tasks silently. We don’t show
off by screaming (I’m done or finished)
wait for the rest.
4. Don’t be late for after-break sessions or
you’ll be suspended for another 10
minutes out of the class.
5. When we move in the hallway, we don’t
cause disturbance for the rest of the
classes and workers. Be nice wherever you
