It isobviousthatthere are noControlsnor Internal Checks inICAI.Anybodywhofilesanyinformation andthe ICAIjust
makesnecessarychangeswithoutcheckingwiththe memberconcerned.
It wouldhave beenprudentthatthe ICAIcheckwiththe memberathispermanentaddressbefore incorporating
changesand thuscompromisingitsownrecords.
I suggestthatthe ICAIcarry out a confirmationof all membersandevenaphysical verificationatregisteredaddressto
make sure that there are nofalse offices.A physical verificationbywayof lettersformembersaged60 yearsor more is
a must inmy opinion.
Afterthe CPE eventsaphotographneedstobe takenand submittedtoICAIbyorganizerstopreventany impersonation.
