Today is a beautiful day
A blind boy was sitting with a hat out asking for coins. A man noticed there were only a few coins, so he dropped some in and changed the sign. The new sign emphasized the boy's blindness in a more positive way. As a result, many more people gave money to the blind boy. That afternoon, the boy recognized the man's footsteps and asked what he had written. The man explained that he had said the same thing but presented it in a better, more impactful way. He had written "today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."
